Classic Lighting and Electrical Supplies,
also known as Classic Lighting Products began in Vancouver, B.C.
Canada. We are a family business whose inception is a credit to our
father Victor Hawthorne, who with his many years of experience in the
electrical industry had the foresight to forge ahead and start a second
business, having already started his agency business in 1961.
Classic Lighting started as a supplier of parts to the
thriving lamp manufacturing industry in British Columbia. The many
contacts Victor made over the years came in very handy at this time.
As our business continued to grow rapidly, we moved in
1980 to larger premises to Burnaby, B.C., which is our current location
from which we service our broad customer base across Canada and beyond.
Today, Classic Lighting Products ships product to many and
varied industries including lighting manufacturers, the movie and film
industry, as well as contractors. We are continually changing with our
customer's needs and the ever-changing marketplace.
